Abstract

Relational database system (RDBMS-Relational Database Management System) is a database system that has a very strong mathematical foundation and has many advantages, so it is generally accepted by almost vendor. Basically, there is nothing 'wrong' with a relational database system. However, with the emergence of a variety of Web applications today that require the higher performance of query, relational data base system was showing the queries performance that do not fit the user’s needs and expectations, because relational database system, for generate specific queries, often have to join data from two or more tables that relate. This process require relational database server to perform a data search (lookup) in the tables must be joined. These data searches require computing resources (processor performance and memory usage) that relatively high, so the performance of a relational database server typically decreasesas more data should be joined. This problems trying to be addressed by several vendor. Google with its BigTable, Amazon with its Dynamo, Yahoowith its PNUTS, and Facebook with its Apache Cassandra for example, using the non-relationaldata storage (Data Store) approach. The purpose of this paper is to introduce Apache Cassandra that is one of the very large non-relational systems, then compare to relational database systems.

Abstract

Unemployment and poverty in Yogyakarta, especially in the districts of Sleman both rural and urban is still high. Efforts have been taken by the government with the entrepreneurship education programs (PKM). The program is the Course Rural Entre-preneurial (KWD) and Course Entrepreneurial City (KWK). The purpose of the research is to figure out the implementation of administration, process, achievement of results, follow-up mentoring business, and the factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of the program (KWD) and (KWK) at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) in Sleman. Data are collected by questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data obtained are then analyzed using descriptive method. Results show that the average value of implementation of the program administration KWD & KWK, implementation process, and follow-up mentoring are 2.331, 2.406, and 2.338 respectively, hence categorized enough. Meanwhile, an achievement of objectives in average of 2,176 and categorized is less. Supporting factors are the aspect of understanding, ability and experience in conducting, has the electronic media (computer) 70% and a good enough office space, as well as funding (block grants) from the government. Limiting factors are the reliance on a particular board member; un-expert tutor, low motivation learners, and nonproductive citizens. Furthermore, the limititions are (PKBM) which insufficient Internet connection and guide books, lack of funds to open a business stimulant, tutor small honorarium, and the difficulty of finding an external funding sources.

Abstract

This research aims to utilize sand in Parangtritis Beach, Parangtritis Subdistrict, Kretek, Bantul regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Utilization of sand with geomedical engineering as means therapy for valuable health sand and applicable scientific. The method used in the form of field data capture characteristic properties of sand to determine the effect of the physical properties of the sand to the sand as a medium utilizing health therapy, include: color, grain size, dust properties, mineral composition, geology and inundated the following conditions as the controller. Primary data field is supported by the analysis of laboratory data in the form of grain size distribution, density, magnetic properties, and secondary data relating to the application of sand therapy information. Composition of magnetic minerals (average 66.20%) were more abundant than non-magnetic mineral grain size and the dominance of fine-sized sand (0.425 to 0.075 mm) affects the temperature of radiant heat on the sand (41.4 to 42 °C). Utilization of hot sand is recommended for optimal therapy performed at 16:00 to 18:00 pm with sunny weather conditions. Application using a combination therapy of Egypt model and Tembolor Beach, Lombok. Sand therapy by using a parabolic sand dunes can be applied with local wisdom of the area. Sand retrieval can be done by reusing the small scale and limited. Barchan sand dune land use is not recommended in order to preserve its existence.

Abstract

Expert system for analysis of disease in rice is a computer-based system for analysis and diagnosis of diseases in rice based on the symptoms that are displayed on the search process. System design goal is to help farmers to know the type of disease in rice plants as well as instructions given solution and the solution given by an expert.Design of an expert system was built using the method of forward chaining in which the searches performed with the technique in detail and the detail so that the search process is obtained as solutions of the selected problems.Advantages of this method is the description of the algorithm and a knowledge base that is comparable to the analysis of the problem, so the results given the results obtained in the order and detail. Expert system for analysis of disease in rice plants created uses programming language Delphi 7.0 with MySQL. By using an expert system is expected to acquire the system user the ease in obtaining the information needed regarding the analysis and diagnosis of disease in rice.

Abstract

Research focusing on the quality of coal in Warukin Formation has been conducted in coal outcrops located on Tabalong area, particularly in 3 coal seams, namely, Wara 120 which is low rank coal, then Tutupan 210 and Paringin 712 which consist of medium rank coal. The average coal quality for seam Wara 120 consist of inherent moisture (IM): 26.65%, whereas for ash and volatile matter (VM) is (ash:5.08%; VM=43.98%). Beside that for fixed carbon (FC) is 24.29%. Meanwhile for seam Tutupan 210 consist of inherent moisture (IM) is 18.42%, ash:1.81%, FC: 33,88% and Paringin 712 consist of inherent moisture (IM) is 16.84%, ash:1.36% VM: 23.02% and FC: 35.76%. Coal liquefaction is conducted of coal -200 mesh(1g) in an autoclave on low pressure and temperature. Pressure during the process is 14 psi and temperature is 120oC. Research was designed by using time variable, respectively, 30 60, 90 minutes. Conversion result gained will be associated with the length of yield process. The aim on the coal liquefaction process is coal liquid. The process is conducted on the time variables of 30, 60 and 90 minutes with following results: seam Wara 120 is 35,76% (30 minute),40.68% (60 minute), 31.15% (90 minute). Then Tutupan 210 and Paringin seam are 7,64% (30 minute): 14,51% (60 minute), 4,53% (90 minute) and 3,21% (30 minute): 9.57% (60 minute), 1,71% (90 minute). Due to characteristic of coal that Wara 120 seam have H/C ratio higher than Tutupan 210 and Paringin 712, so the average result of yield shows that coals in Wara has higher yield conversion than coals in seam Tutupan and Paringin.

Abstract

Due to high competition in the business world especially at the bookstore having critical thinking skills to breakthrough the sales performance. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is an approach used to know, identify and recognize the customer expectation to the company. Today's information system era made customer easier to purchase books using online system. Online bookstore having comprehensive information, many services is what customer looking for.The purpose of designing applications online book sales by implementing CRM is to help increase book sales, improve customer satisfaction, increase customer loyalty, providing convenience to customers to obtain information about book price and availability, provide service complaints, comments and suggestions, and provide services ease of ordering books.

Abstract

Karangmojo village, District Weru, Sukoharjo regency Central Java, during the dry season drought range.The purpose of this study was to determine the hydrogeological conditions of the data, so it can be estimated groundwater potential areas prone to dry. Aquifer in the area carefully situations with flow in the aquifer system of the space between the grains, and the nature of its production being keterdapatannya locally - local.The method used is the estimation of subsurface geology using the data obtained geoelectric tools hold value types, geological mapping and hydrogeological mapping.Advance the depth of groundwater in wells dug around the village Weru, depth of groundwater in the face of population ranged dug 11 meters from the local ground level. Based on geophysical data obtained, the maximum volume of 330 m3/day of water obtained on the west and on the west timur1 timur2 178 m3/day.

Abstract

Rice husk and wood sawdust produced in many parts of Indonesia as forest and agricultural waste. Both of these types of waste materials that can potentially be improved benefits and economic value, one way to be further processed into particle board. Particle board from a mixture of rice husk and sawdust than required strength properties, it is also necessary to study the nature of the heat transfer capability The purpose of this study to determine the value of the thermal conductivity of a mixture of rice husk particle board with three types of sawn wood dust. Three kinds of powder sawdust wood is teak, mahogany wood powder, sawdust and coconut. The study was conducted by means of modifications based on ASTM C177. Test particle board made ​​from a mixture of rice hulls - three types of wood dust by weight of the composition of each mixture 1:1, 2:1, 4:1 and 3:1 with density. The results showed that the rate of thermal conductivity (k) of the lowest 0.997 W / m ° C obtained in a mixture of rice husk particle board with teak wood powder with 1:1 composition. While the largest numbers conductivity obtained in a mixture of rice husk particle board - sawdust coconut (glugu) of 1.315 W / m ° C with a 2:1 composition.

Abstract

Cooling process to analyze effect of gap size to rewetting time and temperature distributions were studied from transient temperature of surface plate. It as result of experiment using two vertical plate with the initial temperature about 600°C. Debit and temperature of cooling water are 0,09 L/s and saturated temperature. The gap sizes were changed from 1 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm. As the results showed that the smaller the gap size, the longer the rewetting time. Pattern of temperature distribution is similar at initial condition for all of gap sizes and the smaller the gap sizes, the longer the time of decreasing temperature.

Abstract

Websites on the internet is now very much and will continue to grow over time. To facilitate the search for websites on the internet, it needs a search engine. There are many types of search engines, but only one of the most popular and frequently visited, namely Google. The number of websites that have been indexed by Google is also very much, even in the millions. This will certainly lead to competition between the websites that have similar themes and discussions as well as having an almost similar keywords to snatch the top position of search results or SERP (Search Engine Result Page) on Google. With the SEO techniques applied, then the effort to get the best position in Google SERP will be easier. To implement the SEO techniques to blog with purpose to get the best position in Google SERP, first decide the targeted keywords and create a blog and set up the blog to make it more SEO Friendly, then implementation will use SEO methods SEO Onpage and SEO Offpage techniques to support performance. After making the implementation of these two methods will be tested on the Google SERP position blog for several days to know the progress of the SEO techniques. The results obtained that implemented SEO technique before the blog positions was on the second page of Google SERP, but after implementation SEO technique then slowly improved blog position and even be in the top five the first page of Google. It can be concluded that the implementation of proven SEO techniques went well.
